Description
WAX MOULD 8KG. Used to create a wax block from cleaned wax cappings. Strong and durable. Perfect shape to be able to remove the wax from.
Process:
- Cut the wax cappings off the frame and allow the honey to drain out of them.
- Wash the wax cappings in fresh water.
- Drain the cappings.
- Place the cappings in a pot with some water and gently heat until wax has melted.
- Pour melted wax and water through a filter eg T-Shirt material or muslin into the wax mould.
- Once the wax has set, tip the wax and water out of the mould and check the underneath for debris. If there is debris scrape it off.
- You now have a clean block of wax.
